Folks,
Did I mention TEMPLE WITH STRINGS? That the Mission Express and yours truly will be at the GAMH next Sunday, November 24, playing TEMPLE BEAUTIFUL with an 8 piece string section? A seated show. Brad Jones flying in from Nashville to conduct the strings. With Kelley Stoltz on the bill! Who could ask for more? (Donât answer that, Parker Gibbs.)
Iâm not gonna lie. Iâm a little worried. Itâs a seat of the pants, One-Night-Only show. Can we get a rehearsal scheduled? Ha Ha. Weâll be there, and weâll be Ready. Or not. Here. We. Come.
Tickets, details and a map of the Tenderloin, PLUS a Nathaniel Russell poster here at the Bold Italic:

Spoiler alert: itâs gonna be epic. And if youâre just joining us, here's some deep background on Temple Beautiful. I take any chance to post this. In fact, you can bury me with this review of Temple Beautiful sewn into the lining of my Giants jacket:

And, at TEMPLE WITH STRINGS, check in with our concierge at the merch table. There will be a limited number of Ocho Loco wooden posters to commemorate the event. Memories fade, love dies, but an Ocho Loco poster lasts forever.
