Thanks for recommending this. I've always liked his stuff, but the
last few albums
have been a little weak, so this sounds promising. I'm heading for
Amazon now.
A thing that I've noticed in my buying behavior: From some artists I
really want to have
the physical cd of all the albums, for others I'm fine with digital
files from iTunes etc.
Josh Rouse goes in the first category, I'm buying the cd of this album.
Any of you with a similar och even odder buying behaviour?

Is anyone else listening to this?
I've been a fan of his for a while now but I admit when I saw a new
album was out I thought to myself "self perhaps you have all you need
by him". But I ended up purchasing it and I am very surprised at how
much I love it. My one minor complaint is some of the lyrics are a
tad weak (IMO). However, for me, this album may not contain my fav
Rouse track of all time but to me it's the album where the songs all
fit together so well and I really like every track. It's a subjective
thing I know but to me this album works terrific complete album start
to finish, where all the songs belong on the disc and flow nicely.
What really seals the deal in terms of why I love this disc is Brad
Jones production. This album is clean and warm in it's sound. At the
risk of being to cliche it does seem like a summer album of sitting at
a quiet beach. OK, maybe that's heard through the ears of someone who
lives in a land with snow still on the ground in late April.
Anyway, anyone else listening to this?
Steve D.
