Been a fan of JR for a while and I agree that it's a great return to form.
"Julie come out of the rain" is an outstanding leadoff track. Great chorus
and twelve string. "This Movie's way too long" and "Purple and Beige" have
that great AM radio charm that I remember when listening to WIXY 1260 here
in Cleveland in the 60s and 70s. JR also just played live on Lightning100
(Nashville) for an hour. I was set up to record it and my PC blew up
after one tune, so I missed the other 55 minutes. If anyone heard the rest
of it, let me know how he sounded. Never seen him live and I doubt he'll
hit Cleveland on this tour (or any other :-(
