Hello fellow Auditeers,
Long time no speak...hope you're all doing well. While I found a lot of this past year's music to be laudable, I am surprised to see no mentions yet of
Mike Keneally's "Wing Beat Fantastic," which is the closest I suppose we can get these days to an XTC or Andy Partridge release. Keneally collaborated
with Partridge on most of the songs, and the results are most promising. It's not power-pop, per se, but I know there are plenty of XTC and Partridge fans
amongst you, and I'm surprised that I haven't seen this release make anyone's list thus far.
Just my two cents...back to lurking and listening...
