I didn't purchase much new music this year, so I am not a very good barometer.  Any list that I make will be awfully short. 



That said, Cliff Hillis's latest, "Dream Good", was (is) exceptional.  Has it made anyone else's list?  I haven't noticed if it did.

Been back & forth with this album but must admit total obsession over 
the song "This Is  Sally Hatchet." I recommend avoiding the video and 
just listening to the cut w/o visuals (unless possibly you're a slasher 
film buff - but heh - at least you've been warned ).
