I just listened for the first time to the album in the Subject, and it's
ok, but was a treat to hear one time all the way through. Songs 1,2 4 &
5 rock in a mostly good way, and the 3rd "Blue Sky" has an intro not
unlike "Just In Time" (done under Black & Blonde), tho is not a rocker
alike Just in Time. There's a decent cover of "Across The Universe" and
a remix of the 1st cut (tho the original is enough).
What's funny is that via Googlin' it's all "first in 30 years", which
means those reviewers were asleep when Mimi and Cliff Johnson issued
"Fallin' In" (a fave of mine) 15 years ago. Tho nominally under Off
Broadway it was surely a collaboration, as anyone who took time to
listen would hear.
Anyway, wanted you to know this record existed, as I'd not seen anything
here, or on Audities FB or elsewhere about it.

NP: Tribute to Anthony Meynell & Squire (The Young Idea) from 2006. So
far ok, tho my fave Squire cut "Take A Look" was poorly rendered by The
Che Men, whomever they are/were. Bart Mendoza's Shambles shine with 2
cuts, and the leadoff Debbie Jones from The Eddies is swell, and The
Vagabonds rendition of "The Face of Youth Today" was pounding fun,
sounding much more UK than US.
