Back in the mid 80's I purchased a copy of the vinyl EP from Aztec Camera which featured a cover of Jump. I thought and still think it was a brilliant cover (a rare cover I love where I didn't love the original). First per the more melodic softer vocals of the AZ version and then with the kick ass shredding guitar solo at the tracks conclusion. Rocking way more in my opinion then Van Halen's. Simply brilliant but I'm sure most of you know it, recall it. I recall sharing it with friends and I can't think of a single person not loving it.
Anyway, I had not heard it in years per I no longer play vinyl and I couldn't find the song on mp3 version. So, I picked up the cd "best of" by Aztec Camera. I was so excited to hear the song again. I was loving it AND THEN IT HAPPENED...the song fades without the ending guitar solo. Utter Blasphemy!!! My excitement turned to frustration and loss. (sorry the drama)...
So, anyone know where I can get my hands on the original track in all it's glory. Perhaps it is under my nose and I'm looking in all the wrong places....?
