My brother listened and loved it and he is a huge Primitives fan. He said it's all originals and the song you think is a cover isn't... Here's what he wrote about it in his blog:

After 21 years, The Primitives come back strong! I think its good that they didn’t really get too 80’s upped back in the day, and they are able to recreate their amazing sound! Yes! Awesome! Great!
