Doug Edmunds here. New to the list so please forgive me for possibly re-posting something my friend, Anna Borg, may have already mentioned. The Stars Explode, the band I've been leading since 2007, is very excited about our new release, Between The Lines. We started work on the album a year ago, tracking all the initial recordings with Mitch Easter at his wonderful studio, the Fidelitorium. Since then, we spent much of 2011 doing all the overdubs at our own home studios and, in early December, finishing the mixing.
Since I know many of you may have fond memories of my former group, Gladhands, I wanted to make you aware of this project, which I honestly feel is the best work I've done since La Di Da. Right now (through January 6), The Stars Explode have a Kickstarter campaign running to raise the final chunk of funds necessary to complete the record (mastering and manufacturing).
