Whoa -- got notice today of a terrific bargain: a bunch of brand-new direct-from-an-independent-label quite-tuneful CDs for only $5 each (including free shipping).
Among the offerings -- my Number 2 album for 2011: "Henning Goes to the Movies" by Henning Ohlenbusch.
Also fantastic -- the two School for the Dead albums -- with guest appearances by Henning's pal and sometimes-bandmate Chris Collingwood (from Fountains of Wayne) -- as well as Henning's other solo album ("Looks Like I'm Tall").

As for Henning's "movies" album -- here's how I described it at its Emusic site:
>> Henning does it again -- tender and witty lyrics over memorable melodies -- start with "The Year My Voice Broke" and you'll want to hear the rest (often)!
You can listen to that song, as well as every other song on "Henning Goes to the Movies," and read about the concept behind the project at:

And again: $5 each, including shipping...
Ho, ho, ho!
