Ryan's solo album was one of my faves for 2011. He's also in another
Detroit-area punkish-pop band called Destroy This Place:

The Friendly Foes had an album on several member's Best-Of list a few years
back (mine, included). Ryan Allen, the guitarist from the band, has a solo
record out that is available for free download on Bandcamp. On quick
listen, it sounds very good and right up our (collective) alley.
