I recently learned about this Dallas quartet who describe their sound as "janglecore". Whatever you want to call it, I'm absolutely loving their album, Paper Cuts, which was released last month. I'm hearing a bit of early REM as well as The Connells and The Feelies. So addictive. They mostly play in Dallas-Fort Worth and Denton but I was lucky enough to see them in Austin when they shared a bill with Leatherbag (singer and guitarist, Randy Reynolds, turned me onto them) and Right or Happy ?
