How prophetic that the day I opt to do a specialty theme show on JANGLE POP
is the day R.E.M. decides to call it quits - after 31 years! Fortunately,
the music lives on ... as the godfathers of 80s jangle helped kick off a
searing set of melodic and chimey bliss.
