Nope in my experience the cheaper cds from Hong Kong on ebay tend to be promo copies or sometimes used. i have never bought any cds that turned out to be bootlegs. If you look at the photos of the ones for which I posted item numbers you will see they have promo stickers etc on them.
Always a good way to fill in the holes in your Flippers Guitar cd collection.( Item # 310338465719 )

Are the really cheap CDs of Japanese albums still mostly pirated?
I think that high domestic prices for music and video come from how
the Japanese retail economy is structured. And then you have to
figure in exchange rate and transportation.
