I could make some of you green with musical envy if I said she and her band would perform here in Charlotte at least once per week while she was going to school here.

sort of played songwriter matchmaker between them. A few years back Nicole did
n interview with an Austin TX publication just before she played Austin City
imits Festival. In the interview she mentioned being a fan of Cotton Mather. I
orwarded it to Robert through Future Clouds and Radar's MySpace page. Months
ater, I run into Robert and he tells me that he contacted Nicole and they were
oing to start writing together. When Nicole played in Austin earlier this
ummer, Robert played guitar on "Monterrey Honey" (but he was unable to sing
hat night). It was quite a treat.
