One of the best Record Store Releases was the Foo Fighters covers album called Medium Rare. I had several of the songs on miscellaneous b-sides, but I didn't have all the tracks. One that I have never heard was their version of "This Will Be Our Year." Damn, who knew Grohl had such an inner Beatles in him. Pretty great version I have to say.

And speaking of Foo Fighters, their new full length is quiet the ass kicker. Monster riff after riff, but melodic as well. Best album they've put out? Yes.
