Hey Audities!
Brian from Oranjuly here -
I don't/haven't really posted anything regarding my band but I just
wanted to let everyone know that our song "The Coldest Summer" is
nominated for "Best Song" the Boston Phoenix's "Best Music Poll" this
year.
I'm guessing most of you aren't from Boston but the Phoenix is Boston's
equivalent to NYC's "Village Voice," so it's a pretty big honor for me.
Also, it's like the 3rd or 4th song I ever wrote so that's funny in
itself.
I know there are a lot of powerpop fans who dug our album and it would
take a second to vote. Literally, it's just a click. No e-mail address
BS. Just a click. I've even included the direct link!
Anyway, we're playing with Mike Viola (Candy Butchers) this Saturday in
Boston! Going to be GREAT.
