Sonar X1 can apparently do that. And there is a plugin called Melodyne
(the reason that people once believed Ke$ha could sing) which I believe
can do it.
What you want is something that can create MIDI from audio.

playing the song, so wonders if there is a software program that will
allow her to sing the song into it, and have it convert her sounds into
music notation. She just downloaded the Songwriter program, but that's
not quite what she's looking for.
