Hey Hey Gene!

Thanks for your comment and interest in what is going on in my world.

Here you go - ready? You asked. I'll give it to you straight.

First, the last 5 months has been spent recovering from the financial holocaust that running any company that sells little round silver discs deals with. To say that running Not Lame the last six years was 'hell', would be an understatement and subject of some kind of novel or manifesto down the line. To move forward, I just had to stop the bleeding, apply triage and try to take care of everyone I able to - and, honestly, focus on other things outside of music w/ work that could actually take care of my family as it had extracted a large toll on them and they deserved better than what Not Lame was able to provide.

For me, that was working on consulting work here in Colorado, that has been not only a lot of fun, challenging and rewarding but therapuetic! The last year I've found I'm a *whole* lot better helping other business owners and companies develop more profitable platforms for their services & products than I am with my own. ;-P

Funny how that can work.

Also, working on other business development - in and out of music.

Finally, I am in the final stages of launching one of the coolest, most exciting projects I've ever worked on - and it is completely related to 'power pop'. That would be POP GEEK HEAVEN. It has nothing to do w/ selling CDs or even downloads. PGH is something completely different and not really seen in the music biz, music fan or collector world with 'the vision' I am working on. You'll love it - or hate it. :-P

PGH will arrive in May. It's been a lot of work w/ juggling this and everything else but I am very, very excited to show it to fellow pop geeks. I'll start trickling details out in late April so if you are interested, go to www.popgeekheaven.com and put yr email in there.

Also, if you want to get in touch w/ me personally(or if you are a talented freelance writer interested in writing for PGH), you drop me a line at:

goodmusicguy@gmail.com

So there ya go, Gene! Thanks again missing me! :-P

Bruce

=========================================

Bruce,
I know I speak for a lot of members here, but you are missed. I feel a big connection to pop music has left us.
How are you doing? How is life in the fast lane? I hope there will be good news coming from you soon.

Gene
