who could forget his wooden deilvery on his "Rock Concert" tv show?
How he'd mention all the managers and booking agents and producers when
he'd intro acts?
Not to mention the Monkees and the Archies of course....
those of us of a certain age remember the wasteland that TV music was
in the 1970's.....you'd stay up late just to see who was on Rock
Concert and Midnight Special, only to be disappointed that it was the
Doobie Brothers again or Helen Reddy or Jeff Altman....
nontheless, he was indeed an impressario...
