Well, the original task I set myself was the 40 Best (favorites) of the decade.
Jeff switched the focus to best of each of the years...which I can also do
within the context of the 40. Though I'll wait until I finish the countdown. :-)

I thought his point was picking the top 40 CDs from the decade as a whole, not listing the top CD for each individual year. Or did misread his post?
