Seeing Beefheart live was an eye opener. First saw him in 67 and then again
several times in the 70's. As a result the records never seemed "difficult"
to me.

Trout Mask Replica was totally weird but it so grew on me. Gotta love Ella
Guru and Dachau Blues. He was also an amazing balladeer.... My Head is My
