In my book, nothing could ever top "Dear 23" or "Frosting on the Beater"
however I've always judged most of the Posies albums on their own merits
rather than relative to each other....mostly because each is so vastly
different.
Blood/Candy is by far their most mature and varied sounding release.
Song-wise..."So Caroline" "Glitter Prize" "Take Care of Yourself" and a
few others are stone cold pop gems...while a few others are a bit too
oblique and hard for me to embrace.
Still...this would probably make it into my Top 10 list for the year.
