There's always John Linnell's State Songs, which would cover 15 states:
Illinois
West Virginia
South Carolina
Idaho
Montana
Pennsylvania
Utah
Arkansas
Iowa
Mississippi
Maine
Oregon
Michigan
New Hampshire
Nevada
Also just remembered the song Arkansas from the musical Big River...
