I think it was explained to me about 10 years ago that Aspen is where the movie stars go, and Beaver Creek is for the CEOs.

I've spent a little time around there... in-laws in Breckinridge and friends
in Gypsum. Jeez I think my wife helped build the Beaver Creek ski hill in
the summer of 1980! I think you should just plan to enjoy the trip.. It's
not where I'd expect to find anything except maybe antique stores...
