The played most of the album live at a show in Seattle (where they also played
Frosting on the Beater in its entirety) right before they went to Barcelona to
record it. The songs alternated between classic powerpop and 70s
glam/progressive pop. Ken started one song with keyboards straight out of
Supertramp; when I shouted that out, he winked and said "Steal from the best."

In case anyone is interested, you can get a sneak peak at a track
from the new Posies album "Blood/Candy" (in stores Sept. 28)

icenses-to-hide

If this Bowie-esque track is any indication, "Blood/Candy" will be a very
different sounding Posies album!
