Funny this. I had just listened to "The Iron Age" (2005) last week and wondered to myself why he wasn't more widely appreciated even in our corner of the world. I think fans of Jon Brion, Darin Murphy, Crowded House, etc. would all appreciate his substantial craft, and tremendous melodies.

I also noticed that he has a new album out, "Excruciating Bliss", which I emailed him about a couple weeks ago, but hadn't heard back.

I see there's no SF IPO this year. Can't say I'm surprised. SF marches
