I like the Humbugs quite a bit.  You can hear a few songs in their

entirety at the myspace page, and snippets of everything they've done (3

albums and an ep) at CD Baby.

Perhaps not "power pop" but Romantica is a very fine TC band. I've heard

good things of a band called The Humbugs that play around town but I've

not heard them.





Michael, If you were looking for the real giants of power with pop...I'd

go with McCovey or Mays.
