I'll also vouch for the Stanton!  I actually bought a T.92, which I think is 
a replacement for the T.90.  It sounds great...but the funny thing is that I 
found that the USB connection and the software that came with it quite 
quirky to use.  I also had some reservations regarding the digital 
recordings I was making using that setup.  However, the nice thing is that 
the T.92 also comes with a line out switch, so I simply plugged the RCA 
cable output into the line in (microphone input) on my laptop, flipped that 
line out switch on the back of the unit, and using the free Audacity 
software, I discovered I created much better digital copies.
