Popular misconception: The insult was actually pointed at the woman the
whole song was aimed at, not a rip at Jackson.
Tonio K is a longtime favorite and a great songwriter. Many of his
slower/love songs can be as easily interpreted as a love song about a woman
or as a Christian reference. (Not "H-A-T-R-E-D", though.). His later albums
contained some real gems ("You Were There" got me through the heartbreak of
losing my Mom far too early) and Romeo Unchained is a very, very underrated
album. As Bruce would say, "extremely highly recommended".
