For those who aren;t aware of this and who are fans of Emitt Rhodes
on this list....

PRESS RELEASE**
It's finally arriving in the USA! After having a premiere at the Rome
International Film Festival in Italy last October, the Emitt Rhodes
documentary, " The One Man Beatles", is going to be shown Thursday
July 8 at the Don't Knock The Rock film festival in Hollywood, CA.
The film features interviews with The Bangles, Keith Olsen, Ray Paul,
Michael Penn, Allison Anders, and others...and of course, Emitt Rhodes.

This is the English version of the documentary
Ray Paul appears in the documentary film and in conjunction with the
release of the film,
Permanent Press ( www.permanentpress.net/raypaul.htm )
is releasing a single by RAY PAUL that was intended to be on the
Emitt Rhodes Tribute CD "Rhodes Of Perfection"
but has been put on hold by Brewery Records in Costa Mesa, CA.
The cover version by RAY PAUL of the Emitt Rhodes composition 'TIL
THE DAY AFTER
has just been sent to radio and will appear on the August 2010 radio
industry trade CD Sampler
"A TASTE OF TRIPLE A." The track is already airing on KDHX (St.
Louis, MO) KEAO/KONI (Maui),
KWVA (Eugene, OR), WMEL (Melbourne, FL), www.popgardenradio.com,
www.radioio.com/radioioeclectic.php
& www.westcottradio.org.
EMITT RHODES & RAY PAUL performed together in concert in February
1997 in Santa Monica, CA
and some footage of this show is included in the film. A single,
"Some Sing, Some Dance",
released by RAY PAUL with EMITT RHODES in May 2000, received airplay
on 55 Hot A/C & A/C stations.
