As great as the new Bottle Rockets is, 2010 has been blessed with
something even better in the roots department: Jason & the Scorchers'
HALCYON TIMES, which is on the level of their greatest material
(1983's FERVOR EP, 1985's LOST AND FOUND, 1996's CLEAR IMPETUOUS
MORNING).  They also happen to be the best live rock band ever, so if
you can get to a gig, you oughta.

The CD hasn't achieved widespread distribution, but you can get 'em
straight from the band at http://www.jasonandthescorchers.com
