I think insanely great roots rock falls under the category of insanely great
pop...saw the Bottle Rockets do two festival shows last night (no repeated
songs between shows!) and they were phenomenal. Much like we tend to shake
our heads when great powerpoppers get so little attention, it's a shame that
these guys aren't more well known.

Made me think of a few more (past and present) who are/were in the same
boat. Some even had a hit or two.
