Maybe those that knew him better are aware of daily struggles etc but for me, with Amy Grant's new record doing relatively well, I thought he was going to hit the road again for her and do what he had done for many years. Of course, it is sad for the family despite whatever verbiage one uses to describe the action, as if the verbiage actually mattered one whit (it doesn't). What matters is that he is gone but instead of just sitting here wondering, I decided to just ask as I was hoping someone might !
