It was really Y94 and Tommy Nast doing the pushing but Ed Levine certainly
jumped on the bandwagon as well. He could sell out 2 shows at the Landmark
(3000 seats each) and not draw 50 people in other places. I remember his big
industry showcase at the outdoor show that was derailed by a massive pre-set
snowstorm. He could still draw well in town for a few years at the annual
shows, but he burned a few career opportunity bridges that afternoon.
