There are some good albums that have already been mentioned, including
"Labour of Lust", which fit the bill for me as well.  Like many of you,
I did this many times, but the one that pops in my mind is from 1978.  I
heard City Boy's "5.7.0.5" only one time - on American Top 40 (I think
at spot #40), and went out to Strawbridge's department store and bought
the album Book Early.  Still love that album, and bought everything else
by them (which was pretty easy at the time - most of their albums went
quickly to the cutout bin).
