I 2nd the Harry Nilsson cover of You Can't Do That. The Ian Gomm version is good, too.
I also 2nd the Stevie Wonder's We Can Work It Out & Earth Wind & Fire's Got to Get You Into My Life.
I love discovering Beatles covers. A long list of faves in no particular order:
Rosanne Cash - I Don't Want to Spoil the Party
Scrabbel - Flying (I suspect this is not covered much)
The Nields - Lovely Rita
The Valley Downs - For No One
Low - Nowhere Man
Over the Rhine - Blackbird
Joe Bataan - This Boy
Harvey Averne - I Feel Fine
Bob Marley & the Wailers - And I Love Her
Nashville Mandolin Ensemble - Because
Otis Redding - Day Tripper
Junior Parker - Taxman
Lisa Doby - Eleanor Rigby (I also like the versions by Aretha Franklin, The Handsome Family)
Stoned Soul Picnic - Sergeant Pepper
Kaiser Chiefs - Getting Better
Matthew Sweet/Susanna Hoffs - And Your Bird Can Sing
Cheap Trick - Magical Mystery Tour
Ramsey Lewis - Dear Prudence
Rogue Wave - All You Need Is Love
Cornershop - Norwegian Wood
Ed Harcourt - Rain
The Bar-kays - A Hard Day's Night
She & Him - I Should've Known Better
La Buena Vida - Here, There and Everywhere
Harry Nilsson - She's Leaving Home
Most insane Beatles cover: Milton Berle - Yellow Submarine
