SKY was what I'd call heavy power trio kind of stuff with nice
melody....think "Free". A couple years ago, I tried to find digital copies
of their two CD's. I was only half successful....but right now, if you
search the internet, it is possible to find digital downloads of both SKY
LP's and even the Sunset Bombers.

What kind of music did Sky play? Do you know if Doug sang and/or had a
hand in the writing for that band? Anyone heard of his other pre-Knack
band Sunset Bombers?
Wes (I like Get the Knack just fine, but I think Round Trip is their
best effort by far... love love love that album...)

I'm a very small minority on this list but I never "got the Knack" and
wasn't a fan. BUT, by all acounts from many people I know Doug was a
terrific guy and I really feel bad about his passing. He was obviously
very
passionate about good pop music and always did right by his fans.
I am though a big fan of his pre Knack band Sky. They should have been
huge.
