Yeah, I am. I used to enjoy reading some of this stuff. But man is so off base about this thing. The superbowl halftime show is not about music, it is about spectacle. Who cares if a band for 12 minutes plays to a click track or has pre-recorded music. This is not a concert.
As for the whole age thing, I never hear anyone complain that BB King is still doing shows. Or Buddy Guy. Bill Evans played a series of show then went home to die.
Thing that cracks me up is he complains and complains but never offers up any solution. It must be a miserable existance.
