It's the one line you're thinking of, the farewell tours, plus the fact that
they've obviously done little to keep their chops up. Anyone privileged
enough to catch McCartney last year saw a man perform like a rock and roll
machine for a good 2+ hours, still hitting all the notes and looking
completely comfortable and in charge. Honestly, the best part of watching
the Who these days is Zack Starkey on drums. Roger and Pete have little
left.
