Michael,

You mention Jeffrey Glenn and his 'Lost Jukebox' series of CD's.

First thanks to a fellow Auditeer a link was posted last year to a Pop
Garden Radio special on Jeffrey Glenn,
http://popgardenradio.podbean.com/2009/11/07/november-09-2009-rememberin
g-jeffrey-glenn/

very well compiled, informative and choc full of his own music with'The
Retro's'and music the DJ associated with Jeffrey.
And what great taste he had in music,so this whetted my appetite for
these compilations.

Then a fellow music geek found these links through a forum
http://www.modernforums.com/index.php?showtopic=95973 containing Vol's 1
- 97............and all I could say was what a labour of love,such
beautiful American lost Pop classics, and all lovingly compiled by this
obviously fasinating guy !!And you say Michael, there's 200+ volumes of
these collections, the mind boggles!!

In our youth,a C90 compilation gave you a great insight into the soul of
its compiler,in Jeffrey's case,a listen to any one of these
compilations( I've tried a couple)and you get the picture of the best
music friend you never had!!

Indeed Michael,God bless and Rest in Peace Jeffrey Glenn.....listening
to the lovely things said on the Podcast, you get the impression that we
have lost a truly outstanding music fan,and person !!

P.S. The Retro's music is a real must hear, any stuff available ????

Niall
