I'm guessing that low sales are a major factor.  Over time, I've found that music DVD's sit on my shelf and collect dust more than other types of DVD's.  As a result, I rarely buy any music-oriented DVD's these days, cause it's not worth it to buy if I'll only watch it once.  Maybe others have experienced this.
