yeah, I hear you. It's interesting, but frankly I don't "wanna meet the
scruffs" on every album. I'm happy to get reacquainted, but I'd like
something new to talk about. So credit to Stephen for not simply rehashing
what worked. Indeed, who knows, maybe some of the kids will discover those
older albums due to the cachet of members of Belle & Sebastian on this one.
Course the review at KWVA, where I do my show, seemed to suggest this was a
new band, with the good fortune to score guests from Belle & Sebastian &
Teenage Fanclub. So perhaps there is no history.
