I think I'm going to take a break from this forum because right now I'm trying to concentrate on helping with the relief efforts for Haiti.  I guess I'm a bit taken aback that in an attempt to eradicate our boredom it got to a point where the repartee involved the words "100,00 dead".

I was waiting to see how people would react to what I said.  This list has gotten boring lately.

What I meant was, if you have a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in a very populous and poor country like Haiti, I'm not surprised to hear such figures like 100,000 dead.  I used to work with someone from Haiti, and got to know how bad off that country was.  Saddened yes, stunned no.

And while I said I was stunned by Jay's death, I never said I was saddened by it. :)
