All over, I'd say--I've heard "It's About That Time" by The idea more than once at Taco Bell over the past few years.

I'm not sure who sells the programming for the "piped in music" at the malls
and fast food stores, but at least in the Midwest US we always get a healthy
dose of Christmas tunes from Chris Stamey and Shoes and Material Issue. Is this
a Midwestern thing, or is it all over the country?
Yuletunes remains my all-time fave Christmas CD, and has become a household
tradition for 12/25 morning listening.
