Movie: The Rocker (starring Rainn Wilson from "The Office").  Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination (give it at best 2 stars), but quite fun if you keep your expectations in check.   Some fine little garage pop tunes, too.  Think "School of Rock" meets "That Thing You Do"...

Concert:  Rock and Roll HOF 25th Anniversary (HBO)  I was actually channel surfing and stumbled across it.  Great performances, mostly based on interesting pairings (Stevie Wonder+Sting, U2+Mick Jagger, Springsteen+Fogerty, etc.)  Simon and Garfunkel were outstanding. The video and audio quality are great for those with a home theater setup.  I don't think I normally would have dialed it in, but it was really, really a top notch show.
