Believe me I was excited when I read that. Sent it to the group immediately, knowing you people would see the possibilities here. Two great American composers. Could be wonderful. Plus that is the first mention I have seen that Brian is working on an album. Always good news.
Two things come to mind. The Wilco/ Billy Bragg project with the unfinished Woody Guthrie tunes. That turned out pretty cool. And the fact that on Brian's last album he  tackled Hoagy Carmichael, one of America's greatest. Life is good.
