"...he played the evil country star Haven Hamilton in Robert Altman's NASHVILLE,..."

Evil? Shallow, self-centered and vain certainly and his height-challenged status may have made him a bit of a cock of the walk but I don't think the character was evil at all. In fact, his actions during the finale/assasination scene when he admonishes the crowd, "This isn't Dallas, this is Nashville" while clutching his wounded arm and trying to help the best he can is an unexpected heroic moment and is at the heart of the entire film. It is foreshadowed by his genuine concern for Barbara Jean during the airport scene.

Either way, one of the finest American films of all time and it holds up on repeated (and boy, do I mean repeated in my case) viewings.

Meanwhile, has Todd Fletcher ever released anything else after A Little More Haven Hamilton, Please?
