Last night I saw Todd Rundgren perform at Strathmore Arts Hall in Bethesda
MD. The surprise opening band was Utopia (kasim Sulton on bass, Roger Powell
on keyboards and Prairee Prince on drums). Here is their set list:

   - The Road To Utopia
   - Libertine
   - Abandon City
   - Back On The Street
   - Hammer In My Heart
   - Trapped
   - The Ikon
   - Caravan
   - Last Of the New Wave Riders.

It was great. Then they came back with Jesse Gress on guitar, Bobby
Strickland on keys, saxes, flute and percussion, and Greg Hawkes (the Cars)
on keys to perform "A Wizard A True Star" It was one of the best concerts I
have ever seen. Kasim was in A+ form all night, especially on vocals. Todd
had about 8 or 9 costume changes - it was kinda like a play. The whole band
wore white tuxes.

I think there are 2 more AWATS shows to go. I encourage you to see them.

BTW, Todd's Mom was in the 3rd row behind me (I was 2nd row dead center).
