Thanks for the link Michael.

Reminds me of a friend who has a similar scenario with the Buckingham/Nicks masters and outtakes from those sessions.  

The same guy also ended up with The Hollywood Bowl Beatles concert performances which he recently contacted Capitol/EMI about.  This may be the reason why that album never surfaced as an official release on CD like the vinyl did.  End of that story is that Capitol/EMI finally has them back.  Who knows if they will actually release it...
